Hi! I'm Jasmine, and I’m a current Graduate-Entry Medic at the University of Manchester, and a first-class graduate from the University of Oxford in Experimental Psychology. I have several years’ experience as a private tutor for psychology, sciences and medicine/oxbridge admissions, and have worked across educational settings for saturday schools, university-run admissions programs and interview preparatory sessions and summer camps, and I have experience teaching across various different exam boards (AQA, OCR, Cambridge). I have a particular interest in Psychology, and have helped a lot of students with exam prep for A Levels / GCSEs as well as to prepare for the rigor of the Oxbridge Experimental Psychology / PBS interview. 

I’m aware of the importance of feeling confident in a subject, and I love being able to use my own experience to help students learn and grow throughout tutoring - to watch students start to enjoy a topic is incredibly rewarding! As a result, I’m passionate about making tutoring a collaborative, safe and student-led experience, guided by specific goals, specifications, and practice, and my tutoring style very much reflects this

I’ll meet with a prospective student to discuss their aims for tuition and their current strengths and weaknesses, and together design a plan for the coming weeks to really nail the points of difficulty through content and targeted, specification specific exam practice. I also make sure there’s enough time for feedback and addressing continued learning outcomes.
