Hello. I'm Fin. I'm from London.

I'm a friendly, encouraging and creatively minded English tutor with a professional background in Theatre and Education. I'm currently completing PGCE teacher training with Goldsmiths University. 

I have four years + experience tutoring English Language/Literature from KS2 to A Level, both in person and online. I also have four years + experience working in schools as a learning support assistant.

I have a proven track record of helping my students supersede their exam expectations at 11+, 13+ GCSE and A Level.

Aside from academic expectations, I endeavour to help learners discover their voice and realise their imaginative potential through creative writing and deep engagement with text.

As someone who writes plays and poems every day, I have an inborn appreciation for literature which I love to share with my students.

Whatever the needs of the student, I have a keen sense of the flexibility, attunement and consistency needed in order to help my learners progress. I often go beyond what is required in order to ensure I get the best out of my students.
