I'm a fourth year medical student with over 3 years in tutoring. I aim to help students not just improve their grades, but also their confidence (and hopefully enjoyment!) in Science. My previous students have achieved 2 grades higher than predicted, but have also become more confident and capable learners. My lessons are relaxed and engaging and cater to different learning styles. They are adapted to the exams to ensure the best chance at success.

As for medical school applications, I know how daunting and difficult to navigate they can be. I hope to help you better understand what medical schools are looking for and how you can apply your own experiences to this. I also wan to help give you the best techniques for UCAT success.  

I am a friendly, engaging tutor, who aims to increase student interest in science, making learning easier. I ask lots of questions throughout my lessons to assess student understanding, and encourage questions from students. I often finish my lessons with exam-style questions so that students have an opportunity to apply their knowledge, and so that when the real the real exams come, they aren't so scary! I am flexible and adaptable to student needs and different learning styles.

I have experience in and enjoy working with neurodivergent and SEND students, as well as any students who don't always get on with traditional classroom learning. I strive to work with these students to find a personalised approach to learning, and it is lovely to see these students when learning begins to click and with that their self confidence grows!
