I am a highly experienced educator with 38 years of teaching in Physics, Mathematics, and Computer Science. While I have taught all three subjects extensively, my primary focus is Physics, where I continue to develop both my subject knowledge and teaching practice.

I specialise in helping students build real understanding, particularly those who may initially find the subject challenging. Many of my students begin working with me at a C-grade level and, with consistent support and clear explanations, go on to achieve strong B or A grades. My teaching is grounded in clarity, structure, and patience—especially important when students are struggling to connect the dots.

My own journey as a student was far from effortless. I know what it's like to grapple with difficult topics, and that experience gives me the empathy and insight needed to support others effectively.

I believe meaningful progress begins with a firm grasp of fundamental concepts and precise definitions. I don’t teach shortcuts or "tips and tricks"—I teach the subject. My approach is methodical: I focus on building a strong conceptual foundation, often taking a step back to ensure students fully understand the basics before moving forward.

My explanations are tailored to each student’s level of understanding, and I work hard to make complex ideas accessible without oversimplifying. Whether you're aiming for top grades or just trying to build confidence, I provide the structure and encouragement you need to move ahead.
